[Xcode 9][iOS] Warning "Missing Marketing Icon" is thrown when uploading an app to iTunes connect
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create an empty project
2. Build to iOS & open in Xcode
3. Set up the project for uploading to iTunes Connect (Display name, bundle identifier, Capabilities etc.)
4. In top menu, click Product->Archive
5. Once building is done, click "Upload to App Store..."
6. Follow through the upload wizard with default steps
Result: Warning "Missing Marketing Icon - iOS Apps must include a 1024x1024px Marketing Icon in PNG format. Apps that do not include the Marketing Icon cannot be submitted for App Review or Beta App Review." is thrown.
Note: There is no 1024x1024 Marketing icon in Unity's Player Settings.
Workaround:
1. Under the project in Xcode navigate to "Unity-iPhone -> Images.xcassets->AppIcon"
2. Scroll to the bottom
3. Add a 1024x1024 icon
4. Proceed with reproduction steps 4-6

Another workaround is to check Icon > Overwrite for iOS, and drop your hi-res icon into the top slot for each category, all the way down to the 1024x1024 slot.

Once xcode project is generated > open the project > select "Images.xcassets" from hierarchy > click on app icon > scroll down > assign your 1024x1024 icon by dragging and dropping on that last > now archive > submit . No errors :)

I see it the fix (possibility to set 1024 iOS icon) is available in 5.6.4p1.
It is not available in 5.5.5p1.
But having it in 5.6 is ok for me.

I though paying Unity a monthly subscription would avoid that kind of issue and being always up to date... still a move behind every Apple whims... and the fix is on a version not yet available. Very disapointing...

Xcode has created problems for me to upload my game onto my iPhone for testing. Everything was fine just before that. Now I am uploading Xcode 9.2 with hopes things will be better. I wish the Unity team would be ahead of the curve and find and make fixes for these problems. They did a great job with the ad SDK and I will surely use that in my next game if I am able to solve the Xcode and Unity compatibility problem
