The Scene view Camera does not move when clicking the middle mouse button on a GameObject in the Scene view
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached "(FAV) PROJECTFILE" project
2. Open the "Assets/Scenes/SampleScene.unity" scene
3. Focus on the Scene view
4. Click the middle mouse button on the “Sphere” GameObject in the Scene view
Expected result: The Scene view camera moves to the clicked “Sphere” GameObject
Actual result: The Scene view camera does not move
Reproducible with: 2022.3.14f1, 2022.3.15f1, 2023.2.4f1, 2023.3.0a18
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.33f1, 2022.3.13f1
Reproducible on: macOS Sonoma 14.1.1 (M1 Max), Windows 10
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested

This is still an issue in 2022.3.17. Any idea when the "Fix In Review for 2022.3.X" will be completed?
It would be nice to have an LTS version that's not broken.
