Regression
Yes
RectMask2D has a small amount of padding on the edges
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project (“case_1329008-RectMask2DBug2020.zip“)
2. Open Scene “SampleScene”
3. Observe the Game view
Expected result: Two gray squares can be seen
Actual result: Two gray squares and a red outline behind one of them can be seen
Reproducible with: 2020.1.0a15, 2020.3.37f1, 2021.3.7f1, 2022.1.12f1, 2022.2.0b3, 2023.1.0a4
Not reproducible with: 2020.1.0a14
Reproducible on:
macOS 12.4 (Intel)
Workaround: Use negative padding on the RectMask2D component
Note:
- In 0a14 the ability to change Padding in Inspector is not available
- Additionally, changing the Game view height may cause red padding to appear on the top edge
