Regression
No
OnMouseDown sometimes doesn't get called when clicking on the GameObject's Circle Collider 2D
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project
2. Open the "/Assets/Scenes/SampleScene.unity" Scene
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Click on the white square in the upper right corner of the Game View
5. Place the GameObject on the map
6. Repeat steps 3-4 a few more times
7. Click on each instantiated GameObject
8. Observe their behavior
Expected result: After clicking each GameObject, a black circle appears around it
Actual result: Sometimes the black circle doesn't appear on specific GameObjects
Reproducible with: 2019.4.39f1, 2020.3.36f1, 2021.3.5f1, 2022.1.6f1, 2022.2.0a17, 2023.1.0a1
Reproducible on: Windows 10 (21H2)
Note:
- if the black circle doesn't appear after clicking on the GameObject, disabling/enabling the Circle Collider 2D Component on that GameObject's Child GameObject "SelectionBody" seems to fix the issue
