'Invalid Job' job failed with error code: 2 error after opening UV overlap visualization of baked 4k lightmaps

-

Steps to repro:
1. Open the attached project (link in the comments) and 'AVP6_Desktop" scene on macOS machine;
2. In the Preferences window (Unity>Preferences) goto GI Cache tab and click Clean Cache button;
3. In the Lighting window (Window>Rendering>Lighting) press Generate Lighting button;
4. Wait until the scene's lighting is baked;
5. When the scene's lighting is baked in the upper right corner of the Scene view window expand the Editor scene view visualization filter dropdown;
6. In the opened Scene view visualizations dropdown list select UV overlap section.

Expected result:
UV overlap section is opened without errors.

Actual result:
Following errors are thrown in the Console:
- 'Invalid Job' job failed with error code: 2 ('Unspecified error.').
- Failed opening GI file at relative path: '01/012ab515e0ea6919d8ae79a5a2d9e8e6.ovi'. Absolute path: '/Users/vladimir/Library/Caches/com.unity3d.UnityEditor/GiCache/01/012ab515e0ea6919d8ae79a5a2d9e8e6.ovi'.
In some cases this might stall the Editor almost completely.
See attached screenshot.

Notes:
- Reproducible in Versions 2022.1.0a4, 2021.2.0b6, 2021.1.16f1, 2020.3.15f2;
- Reproducible only on macOS; could not repro on Windows;
- Reproducible when baking with both GPU and CPU Lightmappers;
- Reproducible only for the baked 4k lightmaps; not reproducible for 2k lightmaps.

  1. Resolution Note:

    This is too risky to fix on LTS versions, it does not affect 2023.x.
