[Input System] Input lags when keeping the Editor open for a long time on Windows 7
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the user's attached "NewInputSystemLag" project
2. Open Assets/Scenes/SampleScene
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Press the Enter key
5. Notice that there is no input lag
6. Leave Play Mode
7. Leave the Editor open for a couple of hours
8. Enter Play Mode again
9. Press the Enter key
Expected result: There is no delay between pressing the button and the Input Action occurring
Actual result: There is a delay between pressing the button and the Input Action occurring
Reproduces on: 1.0.1 (2019.4.15f1), 1.1.0-preview.2 (2020.1.14f1, 2020.2.0b11, 2021.1.0a6)
Can't test: 2018.4 (package version too old)
Notes:
- Only reproducible on Windows 7
- After about 8 hours, there is a 1-second delay
- Restarting the Editor gets rid of the lag
