Terms of Service agreement checkbox is invisible under specific OS system themes (UI Accessibility)
Description: A Japanese user was blocked from accessing the Unity Editor because they could not enable the "Accept and Continue" button on the Terms of Service screen. The user could not proceed because the required checkbox was not visible.
- Observation: The checkbox and accompanying text blended into the background color due to the user's specific OS system theme settings (Dark), making the UI element invisible.
- Workaround: The user successfully resolved the issue by changing their OS system theme to a standard/default setting, which revealed the checkbox and text.
- Recommendation: The Terms of Service UI should enforce specific contrast settings or ignore system theme overrides to ensure the checkbox and text remain visible for all users.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Set the Operating System to a non-standard or high-contrast system theme (specific theme details pending, but the issue is confirmed as theme-related).
- Launch Unity Hub/Editor to a state requiring Terms of Service acceptance.
- Observe that the "I agree" checkbox and text may blend with the background, rendering them invisible.
