Hub doesn't switch to the Beta Channel
Reproduction steps:
1. Open "Preferences/Advanced"
2. Switch from Production to the Beta Channel
3. Restart the Hub and check the version
Expected result: Hub updates to the Beta version
Actual result: Hub is still in the Production version
Reproducible with: 3.2.0
Reproducible on: macOS 12.4 (Intel)
