[Timeline][Cinemachine] Positions of GameObjects are wrong in Timeline's Preview and differ from the ones in Play Mode
Repro steps:
1. Open QA attached project "repro"
2. Open scene "TimelinePreviewOffset" in folder "TimelinePreviewOffsetTest"
3. Open the Timeline Window
4. Select game object "LottyZeppelin_TimelinePreviewOffsetTest" in the Hierarchy
5. Add "Cat_Cine_Prefab" and "PF_ZeppelinToy" from Project Window into the Hierarchy
6. Assign the added prefabs to "LottyZeppelin_TimelinePreviewOffsetTest" Playable Director's Bindings
7. Save Scene and click Preview in the Timeline and observe the Scene/Game View
8. Enter Play Mode and observe Game View again
Expected: Positions of objects are correct in Editor Mode Timeline Preview and in Play Mode
Actual: Positions of objects ar off in Editor Mode but in Play Mode are correct (not in every version though)
Reproducible with: 2017.1.4p2, 2017.2.3p1, 2017.4.6f1, 2018.1.6f1, 2018.2.0b9, 2018.3.0a2
Notes:
- It doesn't reproduce if you reopen the project after saving the scene thus a large number of repro steps
- In 2018.1.6f1, 2018.3.0a2 the behavior is identical in Editor/Play Modes
- In 2018.1.6f1, 2018.2.0b9 positions are even more distorted
Fixed in: 2018.3.0a6
