Script compilation hangs Editor if script contains self referencing
Unity hangs on compilation if script contains self-referencing
2. How we can reproduce it using the example you attached
1. Open Unity 2017.1.
2. Open project attached.
3. Project hangs in the stage of "Script Compilation".
Actual result: Unity hangs on Scripts compilation and is not responsive.
To make it finish compilation open script "NewBehaviourScript" and comment line:
public Brok brok;
Compilation will end correctly.
Expected result: Compilation finishes correctly, errors about self-referencing are shown.
