[HDRP] Editor performance drops when using realtime Reflection Probe with Fabric BSDF Convolution turned on
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “case_1339945-TestPerformance.zip” project
2. Open Assets/SampleSceneAssets/TutorialInfo/SampleScene
3. Select Assets/SampleSceneAssets/Settings/HDRPHighQuality
4. Turn on Material/Fabric BSDF Convolution
5. Observe the Editor performance
Expected results: Editor is still performing the same
Actual result: Editor is running with ~1 FPS
Reproducible with: HDRP 12.0.0 (2021.2.0a21)
Can’t test with: 2018.4, 2019.4, 2020.3, 2021.1 (the project is broken after downgrading)
Notes:
When entering play mode, the whole computer is running with ~1 FPS
