Deleting a Visual Element in UI Builder throws ObjectDisposedException if it had Data Source Type assigned
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the attached project
- Open the test.UXML asset
- Select VisualElement in the UI Builder's Hierarchy
- In the Inspector window, set Data Source Type
- Delete the VisualElement
- Observe the Console window
Actual results: ObjectDisposedException: SerializedProperty m_VisualElementAssets.Array.data[1].m_SerializedData.dataSourceTypeString has disappeared! error is thrown
Expected results: No errors or warnings are thrown after deleting an element
Reproducible with versions: 6000.2.0b1, 6000.2.15f1, 6000.3.1f1, 6000.4.0b1, 6000.5.0a2
Not reproducible with versions: 6000.0.64f1, 6000.2.0a10
Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 24.04, macOS 26.1
