Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a project
2. Open Help > About Unity
3. Observe the version reported in the window
Actual results: “6000.2.0a7.0.evg/trunk/4b7e2a98-8f036277/draft-1.11284” is shown
Expected results: “6000.2.0a7” is shown
Reproducible with versions: 6000.2.0a7
Not reproducible with versions: 2021.3.50f1, 2022.3.60f1, 6000.0.43f1, 6000.1.0b11, 6000.2.0a6
Tested on (OS): macOS Sequoia 15.3 (Intel)

Closing this as working-as-intended. We use different formats for the verbose version string depending on the branch it was built from.
