Width, Height and Scale of a Prefab are zeroed when updating to Unity 2022.1.0a6 or above
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the 'UnityRectBug' project with Unity 2022.1.0a5
2. Open the 'SampleScene'
3. Open the 'UIRoot' prefab in the Prefab Mode
4. Note that Width, Height, and Scale are set to not null values
5. Reopen the 'UnityRectBug' project with Unity 2022.1.0a6
6. Open the 'SampleScene'
7. Open the 'UIRoot' prefab in the Prefab Mode
Expected result: Width, Height, and Scale are not zeroed
Actual result: Width, Height, and Scale are zeroed
Reproducible with: 2022.1.0a6, 2022.1.0b4, 2022.2.0a3
Not reproducible with: 2019.4.34f1, 2020.3.26f1, 2021.2.8f1, 2022.1.0a5
-
Resolution Note (2022.2.X):
Revalidated with 2022.2a16 BrokenPrefab is overridden in the prefab itself to have all zero. UIRoot is modifiable as expected. Not sure why this was reopened.
