[VideoPlayer] 1080p VP8 video and audio is choppy on Motorola Moto X (OS 4.4.4)
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project
2. Build and run on device
3. Press on play and video should play
Result: video, which resolution is 1920x1080, is very choppy since the beginning
DUT(reproducible):
01, Motorola Moto X [ghost], 4.4.4, 720x1280, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, Adreno 320
Video (reproducible):
VP8_HD_1080p.webm, 1920x1080, V_VP8,7 564 kb/s, Vorbis, 2, 44.1 kHz
Video (not reproducible):
H264_HD_720p.mp4, 1280x720, h264 avc1, 2 205 kb/s, Main@L3.1, AAC/LC, 2, 44.1 kHz
Reproducible: 5.6.0f3
Note: When WaitForFirstFrame is enabled the result of VP8_HD_1080p.webm video is the same as playing video with device media player. That is expected.
Having WaitForFirstFrame off is a feature for devices fast enough to catch up with playback time, but this device doesn’t appear to for large vp8 movies, that is the reason why video doesn't play
