[UWP] [WMR] OnGUI UI Elements break on HMD
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached "Test WMR GUI.zip" project
2. Plug-in Acer HMD device
2. Switch and Build to UWP
3. Open Visual Studios solution -> Build project (Release, x64, Local machine)
4. Press on the "test" button in the top left -> Press that button again
Expected value: When pressing the button again value increments successfully
Actual value: When pressing the button again, it loses all functionality and no longer works
Reproducible with: 2018.4.30f1, 2019.4.20f1, 2020.2.2f1, 2021.1.0b4, 2021.2.0a3
Notes:
- The issue is not reproducible on Editor
- Built-in VR

Resolution Note (2021.2.X):
IMGUI (the system that calls 'OnGUI()', handles input, and rendering) is intentionally disabled when using an XR rendering path. This is because IMGUI works in screen space, and all screen space rendering is disabled in XR rendering paths because it appears "as close as possible" to the wearer's eyes, which can easily trigger VR sickness or even potentially damage a user's vision by inducing excess eye strain.
uGUI (https://docs.unity3d.com/Packages/com.unity.ugui@1.0/manual/index.html) provides a world space camera mode for rendering into world space and this is supported for XR rendering paths.
