[UIElements Runtime/UI Toolkit] UI Builder label is blurry and there are small artifacts on the letters during runtime
How to reproduce:
1. Open user's attached "TestPerformance.zip" project
2. Open "SampleScene" Scene (Assets/Scenes)
3. Open the Game view
4. Observe the text created with GUI and the label with UI Builder in the Game view
Expected result: Text created with GUI (the upper one) and the label created with UI Builder (the lower one) are both seen clearly and no artifacts appear on the letters
Actual result: Text created with GUI (the upper one) can be seen clearly with no artifacts on the letters, while the label created with UI Builder (the lower one) is blurry and small artifacts can be seen on the letters (H, e, o, d)
Reproducible with: UIElements Runtime 0.0.2-preview, UIElements Runtime 0.0.3-preview, UIElements Runtime 0.0.4-preview, UI Toolkit 1.0.0-preview.3 (2019.4.4f1, 2020.1.0b16, 2020.2.0a18)
Could not test with: 2018.4.25f1 (UI Builder and UIElements Runtime packages are not available)
Notes:
- The issue is not reproducible when a custom editor is created with the UI Builder
- The label in the UI Builder tab (Window -> UI -> UI Builder) can be seen clearly with no artifacts
- Currently, the font used for both GUI text and UI Builder label is the user's "Times New Roman 400", which was used for the Expected, Actual results
- Changing the font to "Calibri Regular", UI Builder label will only be slightly blurry, but some letters will appear darker than others
