Problem still exists in 5.3.6.
UI is now rendered to the texture, but when the UI updates we get lots of artifacts on the texture.

The issue is still present in v. 5.4.0b18. Is there any workaround without switching Unity build? Please help. I am thankful for every advice.

@Willemkokke, good to know! I'm hesitant to upgrade to a patch release—though—because those tend to introduce other bugs. Also, in our team we need to stay in sync with the XBOX plugin version, so it's not so easy to switch back and forth.

It was mentioned as fixed in the release notes of 5.3.5p5, and I can confirm it works again in 5.3.5p6.

How about not marking things resolved until the customer base can actually determine if it's been fixed? Seems like a lot of Unity's issues lately could be solved by not "jumping the gun"
