[TroubleShooter] TroubleShooter instructions use informal/casual grammar (dangling preposition
TroubleShooter instructions use informal/casual grammar (dangling preposition)
STEPS TO REPRO:
1. Open the TroubleShooter
2. Under UNITY TROUBLESHOOTER, this text appears:
Provide us with the description of the problem you are facing with and we will check if the issue has already been reported or if someone has described a solution or workaround.
This sentence contains a dangling preposition (...problem you are facing with...) which is acceptable in informal English but generally frowned upon for formal writing. A more formal version of the sentence would omit the second occurrence of the word "with" and read like this:
Provide us with the description of the problem you are facing and we will check if the issue has already been reported or if someone has described a solution or workaround.
