TM_Text.textBounds force re-position of GameObjects in relation to the Canvas when entering Play Mode
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-17256” project
2. Enter Play Mode
3. Open and observe the Console window (Window → General → Console)
Expected result: “(960.00, 292.00, 0.00)” is printed
Actual result: “(-960.00, -81.55, 0.00)” and “(-662.12, 0.00, 0.00)” is printed
Reproducible with: 3.0.6 (2021.3.12f1, 2022.1.20f1, 2022.2.0b12), 3.2.0-pre.3 (2023.1.0a15)
Couldn't test with: 2020.3.40f1 (Downgrading causes required package for reproduction to break), 4.0.0-pre.1 (TMPro error “couldn’t convert uint\[] to int\[]”)
Reproduced on: macOS Monterey 12.6 (Intel)
Notes:
- Code handling the logging is in “DialogTypeSystem.cs” line:87, function “getLineBounds()”
