The Input Action Asset will not update when the binding path has been changed through a Script
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “TIS.zip“ project
2. Double-click “TestInputs“ Input Actions asset in the Project tab
3. Expand and observe the “Temp“ action binding
4. In the Inspector change the Key Code enum to “Tab”
5. Click on Update Binding
6. Observe the Binding of the action in the TestInputs tab
Expected result: The binding changes to “Tab” and is saved
Actual result: The binding stays at “Space”
Reproducible in: 1.7.0, 1.13.0 (2022.3.58f1, 6000.0.39f1, 6000.1.0b7, 6000.2.0a4)
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (24H2)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Note: When the binding is changed in Play Mode, functionally it does change (not visually), but when Play Mode is restarted, the binding returns to “Space”
