Regression
No
Selected overlays in the Overlay Menu window are not shown as selected when Editor layout is reset
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new Unity project using a 3D Universal Template
- In the Scene view, drag and dock the Overlay Menu so that it becomes expanded with checkmarks
- From the Editor Toolbar, reset the Editor layout to Default
- Observe the Overlay Menu
Actual results: All of the overlays become unchecked, even though they are visible in the Scene view
Expected results: No changes should occur after layout reset, all selected overlays should remain
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0f1, 6000.4.0b1, 6000.5.0a3
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.64f1, 6000.2.15f1 (Overlay Menu only existed as a temporary window and not a floating or docked one)
Tested on (OS): Windows 11
