“Scan” button in the Render Pipeline Converter window is not disabled and does nothing with no Converters selected when Pipeline Tools tab options are ticked but the Pipeline Converter tab is active/focused
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new Unity project using the Universal 3D template
- Open the Render Pipeline Converter window (Window > Rendering > Render Pipeline Converter)
- Make sure nothing is ticked/selected in the Pipeline Converter tab
- Open the Pipeline Tools tab
- Tick/select both options
- Switch back to the Pipeline Converter tab
- Observe the "Scan" button
- Click the "Scan" button
- Observe the Editor
Actual results: The "Scan" button is active/enabled and does nothing when pressed
Expected results: The "Scan" button is not active/disabled
Reproducible with versions: 6000.5.0a6
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.67f1, 6000.3.7f1, 6000.4.0b7 (due to UUM-126875, and different window design)
Tested on (OS): MacOS Silicon Tahoe 26.2, Ubuntu 24.4
Notes:
- On 6000.5.0a6 a "UUM-126875" fix landed to disable the "Scan" button when no Converters are selected, so the "Scan" button being active is not intended
