Regression
No
Reflection Probe is not rendered when changing the GPU Resident Drawer or Probe Blending setting
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project "ReproProj"
2. Open the “/Assets/Scenes/testProbes2.unity” Scene
3. Open the “Assets/Settings/PC_RPAsset.asset“ in Inspector
4. Set GPU Resident Drawer to “Instanced Drawing“
5. Observe the Scene
Expected result: The Sphere is golden
Actual result: The Sphere renders dark
Reproducible with: 6000.0.51f1, 6000.1.7f1, 6000.2.0b5
Could not test with: 2022.3.63f1 (GPU Resident Drawer option is not present)
Reproducible on:
Windows Standalone Player
Play Mode
Testing environment: Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Workaround is to re-bake the lighting, although the gold is still a bit darker after re-baking
- When lighting is not baked and the GPU Resident Drawer is set to “Disabled“, then the Sphere appears dark, and after changing the GPU Resident Drawer to “Instanced Drawing“, the Sphere appears golden
- Also reproducible when changing Probe Blending when GPU Resident Drawer is set to “Instanced Drawing“
