[Quest] XR Rig is teleported to the World Origin (0,0,0) position when the XR Controller is inside a Collider with a Teleportation Area component and Teleportation is triggered
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project "ReproProj"
2. Open the “/Assets/Scenes/Create-with-VR-Starter-Scene.unity” Scene
3. Enter the Play Mode
4. Use the Grip Button of the Left Controller to teleport
5. Hold the controller inside the orange box and try to teleport
Expected result: Invalid teleportation request is returned
Actual result: XR Rig is returned to the (0,0,0) position
Reproducible with: 2.4.1 (2023.1.11f1), 2.5.2 (2021.3.35f1, 2022.3.20f1, 2023.2.10f1)
Could not test with: 3.0.0-pre.1 (2021.3.35f1, 2022.3.20f1, 2023.2.10f1, 2023.3.0b7) (Error “NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object” and the teleportation can’t be performed)
Reproducible with devices:
VLNQA00379, Oculus (Quest 2), Android 10, CPU: Snapdragon XR2, GPU: Adreno (TM) 650
Testing environment: Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Reproducible with Windows Standalone and Android Player
- Only reproducible when the XR Ray Interactor uses a Sphere Cast as the hit detection type
