Performance drop in editor when DPI is set to 125%
Repro steps:
1. Right click on the Dekstop > Display Settings > Set Scale and layout to 125%
2. In a VFX-enabled project, create and open any VFX.
3. Grab the Update context and drag it around the VFX window's edges (gif attached)
4. Observe the following console errors:
Layout update is struggling to process current layout (consider simplifying to avoid recursive layout): VisualElement unity-panel-container6 (x:0.00, y:0.00, width:300.00, height:364.00) world rect: (x:0.00, y:0.00, width:300.00, height:364.00)
UnityEngine.GUIUtility:ProcessEvent (int,intptr,bool&) (at C:/buildslave/unity/build/Modules/IMGUI/GUIUtility.cs:189)
Notes:
- Depending on Windows DPI setting (125% triggers the issue but not 100% and 150%) the visual effect graph layout can enter in an infinite loop which kill the editor performance.
- It has been identified that the class responsible for this loop is VFXSystemBorder.
- Happens in 13.x and tried as far back as 10.7.1
