Instances of static objects are not loaded when the static objects are disabled in the Player
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “bug.zip“ project
2. Build and run the project
3. In the Player, toggle off the “Toggle Staging Tree Subscenes On/Off“ button (so that the terrain object is unloaded)
4. Then, toggle off the “Toggle Hierarchy Trees On/Off“ button (so that the 5 tree objects are unloaded)
5. Toggle on the “Toggle Staging Tree Subscenes On/Off“ button (so that the terrain object is loaded)
6. Observe the loaded objects
Expected result: The terrain is loaded with trees
Actual result: The terrain is loaded with no trees
Reproducible in: 1.3.2, 1.3.14 (6000.0.49f1, 6000.1.3f1, 6000.2.0b1)
Could not test in: 2022.1.0a1, 2022.3.62f1 (unable to finish building the project)
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (24H2)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Only reproducible in the Player
- Warnings for each static base tree are logged upon loading the Subscenes: “Registering material null at index {index} inside a RenderMeshArray failed“
- Could not test for regressions as the building loading box never progresses with lower versions
- In the Player.Log, “{{Registering mesh null at index [index of the static object] inside a RenderMeshArray failed}}“ can be observed when trying to load instances
