On further investigation, I'm specifically having an issue with the Pixel C running 6.0.1. The gryo works fine with the same Unity app on a Nexus 5 running 6.0.1.

I can confirm that the gyro still does not work with Unity 5.3.2f1. However, apps built with earlier versions of 5 and 4 do not work either. So perhaps the issue is with Android and not Unity.
