[IL2CPP] [iOS] Cannot prevent implicitly referenced assembly from getting stripped
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the project attached in "mars-companion-project3.zip"
2. Build for iOS and deploy to a device
3. Press skip
4. Press New Project
5. Swap to right and press Start under "Data Recording"
6. Press Start Record
7. Wait for a couple of seconds
8. Press Stop record
9. Inspect the recording data
Expected result: There are file sizes next to the checkboxes (for example Video (<size>), Surfaces (<size>))
Actual result: File sizes are not shown (for example Video, Surfaces)
Reproducible with: 2019.4.21f1, 2020.2.6f1
Could not test with:
2018.4, because references get removed and the project breaks,
2021.1, 2021.2, because EditorUtility.CompileCSharp has been deprecated and I was not able to correctly use UnityEditor.Compilation.AssemblyBuilder
Devices tested:
Reproducible with:
VLNQA00310 iPad Pro 12.9 1st gen (iOS 13.4.1)
iPhone 12 (iOS 14.1)
Not reproducible with:
VLNQA00335, Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G (SM-G986B), Android 10, CPU: Exynos 990, GPU: Mali-G77
