GameObject with the Visual Effect Component is not rendered in the Scene view when it is reenabled in the Inspector and the Play mode is paused
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project "vfxGraph"
2. Open the "Sample Scene" scene
3. Enter the Play Mode and pause it
4. In the Scene view, zoom in to the "GunBeam" GameObject
5. In the Inspector, disable and reenable the "GunBeam" GameObject
6. Observe the Scene view
Expected results: The GameObject is shown
Actual results: The GameObject is not shown
Reproducible with: 6000.0.50f1, 6000.1.5f1, 6000.2.0b3
Reproducible on: macOS Sequoia 15.4 (M1)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note: The gizmo is shown but the VFX itself is not

Latest issues

Resolution Note:
This is the expected behavior.
Disabling and enabling a visual effect will restart it.
With the editor in play mode and paused, visual effects are not updated and therefore can't spawn any particles.
Unfortunately, this is true even if prewarm is applied to the visual effect asset, because the entire system does not receive updates.
