Flickering bright white dots in the Scene when the Android Platform is selected and DX11 Graphics API is used with Iris(R) Xe Graphics GPU
Reproduction steps:
1. Create and open a new “Universal 3D” template
2. Go to File > Build Profiles and switch to Android Platform
3. Go to Edit > Project Settings > Graphics
4. Change the “Default Render Pipeline” to “Mobile_RPAsset”
5. Go to Edit > Project Settings > Player
6. Make sure “Graphics API for Windows” is set to Direct3D11
7. From the Hierarchy, add a Plane GameObject to the Scene
8. Enter Play mode
9. Observe the Game view
Expected result: No artifacts are visible in the Scene
Actual result: Bright white dots are visible in the Scene
Reproducible with: 2022.3.62f1, 6000.0.59f1, 6000.2.7f1, 6000.3.0b4
Reproducible on: Windows 11 (Iris(R) Xe Graphics)
Not reproducible on: Windows 11 (NVIDIA RTX 3500)
Notes:
- Does not reproduce with DX12, only with DX11
- Appears to only reproduce with Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics GPU
- The issue does not reproduce if HDR is disabled (under Quality settings) or Soft Shadows (under Shadows settings) are enabled on the Mobile_RP Asset
- Does not reproduce with the PC_RP.asset
- Does not appear to reproduce if no Mesh is in the Scene
