Entering Play mode for the first time also launches adb.exe which locks Unity editor when closing it
Android development kit is required for reproduction.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open any project
2. Start entering play mode.
3. adb.exe process will be created and will remain running.
4. Once play mode starts running adb.exe remains running as independent process.
5. If adb.exe is killed, it will not be launched again.
Reproducible with any platform editor mode.
The issue is fixed in Unity 4.3.7 Patch 1 version.

This problem is driving us crazy. Please fix ASAP guys, thanks! I'm at the point where we want to just remove everything android because this is getting in our way (I find it locks my system up all the time, not just when trying to close).

I would add my 10 votes to this because it is still unresolved, but the ticket is "fixed". It aint fixed. It literally crashes unity on a relaunch of unity if it is running in the background. If you kill the process, no crash.

Not fixed in 4.3.4f1. Also this causes the FMod plugin to crash on initialisation the second time you hit play.

I can confirm this is not fixed on 4.3.4f1. adb.exe launched when play mode entered for the first time. Prevents unity from closing until adb.exe terminated. Running Win 8.1 Pro
