Issue ID
UUM-103990
Regression
No
Object bounding size not set using custom ShaderGraph when GPU Resident Drawer is enabled
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-99970.zip” project
2. Open the “SampleScene”
3. Click on the Scene view tab to make the Scene view active
4. Switch to the Game view tab
5. Observe the Sphere in the Game view
Expected result: The Sphere is rendered with a gradient
Actual result: The Sphere is rendered half black with a bright white background, and no gradient is visible
Reproducible with: 6000.0.48f1, 6000.1.1f1, 6000.2.0a10
Couldn’t test with: 2022.3.61f1 (GPU Resident Drawer not available)
Reproducible on: Windows 10 (User reported), Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- To see the expected result, select the Assets/Settings/PC_RPAsset from the Project Window. Then, in the Inspector window under Rendering, change GPU Resident Drawer from “Instanced Drawing” to Disabled
- Disabling and re-enabling the GPU Resident Drawer does not instantly make the issue appear in the Game view. The issue reproduces after switching to the Scene view tab and then switching back to the Game view tab
- Also reproduces in the Player
