Compiling very large assemblies with GCC fails

iOS

-

Compilation fails with: FATAL:Section too large, can't encode r_address (0xXXXXXXXX) into 24-bits of scattered relocation entry.

Issue: ARM object files are limited to 16MB in GCC.

Possible workarounds:
1) Get latest Xcode and use LLVM compiler.
2) Or split your scripts into precompiled plugin assemblies.

Won't fix reason: Apple is phasing out GCC and substituting it with LLVM, which fixes the issue.
