Issue ID
ECSB-1119
Regression
No
Baked GameObjects in an Entity Subscene do not retain textures when the section's, under which they are, index is set to 0
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “ObjectRef.zip“ project
2. Open the “SampleScene”
3. Enable the “New Sub Scene“ Subscene in the Hierarchy
4. Observe the “Cube” GameObjects in the Game view
5. Disable the “New Sub Scene“ Subscene in the Hierarchy
6. Observe the Game view
Expected results: All “Cube” GameObjects under “Section0“ retain their color
Actual results: All “Cube” GameObjects except the ones under “Section0“ become white
Reproducible in: 1.2.0, 1.2.1 (2022.3.30f1, 6000.0.4f1)
Could not test in: 2021.3.39f1 (Entities Graphics Package not available) 1.0.8, 1.0.16 (2022.3.30f1, 6000.0.4f1) (Subscene GameObjects are not rendered at all and unfixable console errors)
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (23H2)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- The reporter states that after disabling the Subscenes and moving the camera for some time, all objects will become magenta (could not reproduce locally)
- If the other sections' indices are set to 0, they will also retain their texture after disabling the Subscene
