Very frustrating to now be affected by this issue. Ive just spent 6 months completing my game, i had to upgrade to a newer version of unity than the one i started with in order to be able to build my android game to support api29. Now this issue has shown itself which will cause me alot of work. It would be superb if this issue could be fixed

This issue seems to be holding up an update of Naninovel, which is a rather powerful engine for visual novel games. It's helping us a lot in development, and the next update has quite a lot of fixes that are important, so it would be very helpful to have this issue dealt with.
