Xbox controller's View and Share buttons are not registered correctly when using MacOS
How to reproduce:
- Open the attached project “IN-16317.zip“
- Open the “Assets/New Controls.inputactions”
- Expand the “New action“ under the Actions window
- Make a new key binding and expand the “Path” drop-down window
- Press the “Listen“ button in the “Binding Properties“ window
- Press the “View“ button on the Xbox controller
- Press the “Share“ button on the Xbox controller
Expected result: Pressing the “View“ button registers as a “View“ button and pressing the “Share“ button registers as a “Share“ button
Actual result: Pressing the “View“ button yields no results while pressing the “Share“ button registers as a “View“ button
Reproducible with: 1.0.1, 1.4.3 (2020.3.40f1), 1.4.3 (2021.3.12f1, 2022.1.20f1, 2022.2.0b11, 2023.1.0a14)
Couldn’t test with: Input System 1.0.0 and lower - due to errors in the Console window
Reproduced on: macOS Monterey 12.6
Notes:
- The issue is not reproducible using Windows
- Tested using the Xbox Series controller
