[Windows][Vulkan] Scrambled texture objects are rendered when setting one with Texture2D.UpdateExternalTexture
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user’s attached “KtxLoadingSpeed” project
2. Open the “SampleScene” Scene
3. Select the “Cube” GameObject
4. Set the “Creation Mode” to “Create Then Update” in the Inspector
5. Right-click the “Load Ktx (Script)” and select “Get Tex” in the Inspector
Expected result: The texture is set on the Cube without any anomalies
Actual result: The texture set on Cube is scrambled
Reproducible with: 2020.3.42f1, 2021.3.15f1, 2022.1.0a8
Not reproducible with: 2022.1.0a9, 2022.2.1f1, 2023.1.0a21
Reproduced on: Windows 10
Couldn’t test on: macOS 13.0 (Intel) (Vulkan isn’t available to select for Editor graphics)
Note:
- Not reproducible with Graphic APIs: Metal, OpenGL
