Windows Phone 8 player stutters every several seconds
The stuttering has been reduced. It's not possible to completely get rid of this effect because of Microsoft's .NET garbage collector. However most of Unity apps should be able to tolerate slight fluctuations in frame rate.

Are you using the Master build? Debug and Release do this for me on WP8 but Master works fine.

I guess this is related to garbage collection. Check GC.GetTotalMemory() before and after stutter. Memory decreases. I've also posted a bug about this with repro project (case 563906)
