[Vuforia][iOS] "Project file cannot be parsed" error appears when opening Vuforia's project built for iOS platform on Windows PC
Note:
Check the attached screenshot for explanation and a possible solution.
Unable to open Xcode-iOS Project when built using Windows machine.
Steps to Repro:
1. Create a new project.
2. Switch the platform to 'iOS' in the Build Settings.
3. Enable Vuforia in the Player Settings > XR Settings.
4. Make a build and deploy on mac.
5. Open "Unity-iPhone.xcodeproj" file.
Expected result:
Project opens successfully
Actual result:
Project doesn't open, "Unity-iPhone.xcodeproj cannot be opened because the project file cannot be parsed"
Reproduced with: 2018.2.0b2, 2017.2.0p2, 2017.3.0b9, 2018.1.0a5
Earlier versions don't include built-in Vuforia support.
Work-around:
Found the solution for this issue on Vuforia forum,
