VFX warning and simulation error when using a specific Custom Attribute configuration
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-130001” project
2. Open the SampleScene (Assets > Scenes > SampleScene.unity)
3. Open the errorVFX2.vfx file in the VFX Graph Editor window
4. Have the Game View window open simultaneously
5. Enter Play mode
6. Double-click the Game View tab to trigger VFX Graph recompilation
7. Observe the Game view and the Console window
Actual results: The VFX simulation result changes and a warning is shown in the Console
Expected results: No changes to the VFX simulation result and no warning shown in the Console
Reproducible with: 6000.0.50f1, 6000.0.68f1
Not reproducible with: 6000.0.49f1, 6000.3.10f1, 6000.4.0b10, 6000.5.0a7
Reproducible on: Windows 11 (by reporter), macOS 26.3
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Note: The warning: “Shader warning in '[IN-130001_errorVFX2] [Minimal] Update Particles': implicit truncation of vector type at kernel CSMain at IN-130001_errorVFX2.vfx(310) (on metal)”
