Variables with SerializeField modified values are lost when the scene is played
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached project
2. Select Mike object
3. Change the values below "Inherited From PlayerController"
4. Play the scene
5. Notice that the changed values below "Inherited From PlayerController" are lost
Expected result: Values below "Inherited From PlayerController" should not be lost when the scene is played
Note: the bug appears only when the object is assigned as a prefab.
Workaround: Deleting "Mike Controller" component and reapplying the script again solves the problem
Reproduced in: 2017.1.0a4, 5.6.0f2, 5.4.1f1, 5.3.3f1, 5.2.3f1
