“Use Incremental GC” setting is disabled in a newly created project
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project with a 3D URP/HDRP Core template
2. Go to the Project Settings > Player > Other Settings and look for the “Use Incremental GC” setting
Expected result: “Use Incremental GC” setting is enabled
Actual result: “Use Incremental GC” setting is disabled
Reproducible with: 2021.2.0a1, 2021.2.19f1, 2021.3.19f1, 2022.2.8f1, 2023.1.0b6, 2023.2.0a3
Could not test with: 2020.3.45f1, 2021.1.28f1 (No 3D URP/HDRP Core template)
Reproduced on:
macOS 13.2.1 (Intel)
macOS 12.6.1 (M1)
Windows 11
Note: Not reproduced with a 2D Core, 3D Core, URP/HDRP Sample templates, but the reporter was able to produce this issue with 3D Core, 3D (URP), 3D (HDRP), and 3D Sample Scene (HDRP) templates
