[Usability] Selected node gets unselected when undoing changes in the Graph Inspector Node Settings tab
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new 3D URP project
- Create any new Shader Graph
- Add any node (e.g. Custom Function) and select it
- In the Graph Inspector, navigate to Node Settings tab
- Modify anything, e.g. add list items to "Inputs" list
- Click Ctrl+Z to undo
- Observe the Graph Inspector
Actual results: The node gets unselected and its properties are no longer visible in the Graph Inspector
Expected results: The node remains selected and its properties are visible in the Graph Inspector
Reproducible with versions: 2023.1.0a4, 6000.0.75f1, 6000.3.15f1, 6000.4.7f1, 6000.5.0b8, 6000.6.0a5
Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 24.04, macOS 26.4
Note:
- Undo operation still gets successfully performed, but the loss of node state impacts usability
