UUM-68623
Regression
Yes
URP Asset cannot be assigned to “Default Render Pipeline” property
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “URPAssetIssue“ project
2. Open the Project Settings window (Edit > Project Settings)
3. Select the Graphics section
4. For the “Default Render Pipeline” property open the Object Picker window
5. Select any available Asset
Expected result: URP Asset is assigned and no errors are thrown
Actual result: URP Asset is not assigned and “NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object” error is thrown
Reproduced with: 6000.0.0b14
Not reproduced with: 2021.3.37f1, 2022.3.24f1, 2023.2.18f1, 6000.0.0b13
Reproduced on: Windows 11
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
1. Not reproducible in a new project
2. Not reproducible with HD RP
3. A workaround exists - drag and drop the URP Asset into the “Default Render Pipeline” property - Asset is assigned but the same error is thrown
4. Full error is provided in the internal comments
