Undocked Game view does not Maximize on Play
When the Game view has its own window apart from the rest of the Unity Editor UI, the Maximize on Play setting has no effect. The workaround is to manually resize the Game view. This is not a regression; the same behaviour can be seen in Unity 4.3.0f3.

How is this not a feature? This framework makes millions of dollars from gambling companies, I was thinking of also starting my own gambling company and using Unity. But it seems they don't invest much of their revenue back into development of their editor. Simple features like this are highly requested but not implemented? I don't get it. How hard could this be?

This workaround works for me:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Unity3D/comments/2lymim/full_full_screen_on_play_script_freebie_for/
It's an editor script which forces the game window into position on play. Since my 2nd monitor is below my main one, I added:
newPos.y += 1080;
