UI stops rendering when WaterSurface's Caustics are enabled
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “WaterSurfaceCausticsBug.zip” Project
2. Open the SampleScene
3. Observe the Game View
4. Enable Caustics in the Inspector of the “WaterSurface” GameObject
5. Observe the Game View again
Expected result: UI (White square) is always rendered
Actual result: UI disappears when Caustics is enabled
Reproducible with: 2022.3.15f1, 2023.2.3f1, 2023.3.0a17
Couldn’t test with: 2021.3.33f1 (WaterSurface Component not available)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not Reproducible on: no other environment tested
Notes:
- Also reproducible in Player
- The “Fullscreen Passthrough” setting on the Camera must be enabled
- Render Mode of Canvas must be set to Screen Space - Overlay
- in 2023.3.0a17 enabling “Fullscreen Passthrough” is enough to stop rendering UI
