UI is drawn twice in the URP project
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “DrawMesh.zip” project
2. Open the “SampleScene” Scene (Assets > Scenes > SampleScene)
3. Open Frame Debugger and enable it
4. Expand “UniversalRenderPipeline.RenderSingleCamera: UI Camera” > “ScriptableRenderer.Execute: URP_Renderer” > “DrawTransparentObjects” > “RenderLoop.Draw” > “Canvas.RenderSubBatch”
5. Observe the result
Expected result: There are two “Draw Mesh” events
Actual result: There are four “Draw Mesh” events
Reproducible with: 13.1.1 (2022.1.0a16), 13.1.9 (2022.1.24f1), 14.0.7 (2022.2.15f1), 15.0.5 (2023.1.0b12), 16.0.1 (2023.2.0a10)
Not reproducible with: 10.10.1 (2020.3.47f1), 12.1.11 (2021.3.23f1), 13.1.0 (2022.1.0a15)
Reproduced on: macOS 13.2.1 (Intel), Windows 11, Android (user’s info)
Note: Not reproducible in HDRP
