1341814
Regression
Yes
The first submesh texture is overridden for all other submeshes in the CanvasRenderer even when multiple Materials are assigned
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user's attached "ParticleEffectForUGUI.zip" project
2. Open the "IssueScene" Scene
3. Observe the meshes in the Game view
Expected result: Different textures are rendered for the submeshes
Actual result: The first submesh texture is overridden for all submeshes
Reproducible with: 2021.1.0a1, 2021.1.10f1, 2021.2.0a20
Not reproducible with: 2019.4.27f1, 2020.2.0a21, 2020.3.12f1
Note:
- The Editor when Scene opens in 2021.1.10f1 and 2021.2.0a20 also crashes

Waiting for this to be backported to 2021.1.X - this bug also blocks us from updating

My game depends on ParticleEffectForUGUI, and this issue prevents us from updating to the new Unity versions. We're effectively stuck at 2021.3
