Just downloaded Unity 5.5.0f3 and getting this error.. If I create a new blank project I can open the editor but opening any other project crashes.

%100 repro when the device is plugged-in and running Unity Remote 4 *before* I launch Unity (and my project settings are set to use the device for Unity Remote), and then hit the Play button.

I have this problem ipad air, unity 5.3.4f1. UNITY IS CURRENTLY UNUSABLE for ios development!!

I was able to fix it on my project by closing Unity, and deleting the Library folder in my project. Hope this helps someone else who is having the issue.

When I commented out this line:
print(Input.acceleration);
It fixed the issue, and then when I put the code back (removed the comment), everything was fine afterwards.

ahhh i can't vote, unity can't reproduce the issue.
guess you guys are all crazy, just like me.
Practically tried this out of the box, been using Unity for a few months and finally wanted to see my efforts on a device.
Maybe I will just stick to android emulators until the final build; Unity says its not reproducable, so im sure the ios version of my game will be bug free, if my android one is :)
